Five Bands of EQ
The equalizer portion of the Kicker KQ5 has five bands carefully placed across the audible spectrum to allow you to boost or cut specific frequencies and fine-tune your system’s performance. Each band has a control which moves its center frequency up and down to precisely target the portion of the music you wish to control. Each band also has a control that allows you to boost or cut information at the chosen frequency up to 12dB.

Dual Input Capability
The KQ5 features two different inputs, for use with just about any kind of units normally found in a car stereo system: video, video game, minidisc, portable CD, factory radio or aftermarket stereos. This allows the use of two source units in a system. Separate gain controls allow for level matching of both source units in order to prevent hearing or speaker damage.

Remote Bass Level Controller
If you are using a Kicker amplifier that has a Remote Bass Level Control jack, the amplifier can be controlled from the KQ5.

Input/Output Clipping LEDs
Visual indicators to aid in setting input gain and output level controls.

Dual Illumination Colors
Set the illumination switch on the rear of the chassis for green or amber lighting to match your vehicle’s dashboard or to fit your personal taste (EQ slider lights are always red).

I love my kicker to death. They are loud and real good for the price amazon has them at. I would recommend this to a friend. These subs are better then my buds two 12 type r. I’m thinking of buy another one to make it even better.

Kicker does it again with the 08ZX series of amplifiers. I have both the zx3502 & zx3504. I’m running the zx3502 on a kicker 12in solo classic sub. This combo has my passenger & my trunk begging for mercy! The zx3504 is pushing my mids and tweeters (Polk Audio) and they’re crystal clear. Kicker just makes awesome amps.
